Description: The goal of the project was the development of a “lab-on-chip” system for agricultural nutrient analysis. For the first time, the user should be able to assess a soil sample directly in the field with regard to its nutrient content and use this information to fertilize his crops as required. As before, samples do not have to be sent to the laboratory at great expense and the user does not need to have any special knowledge to carry out the analysis.
