The cooperation will be offered to all John Deere distributors and partner companies, giving them access to the complete Pessl Instruments product portfolio and support by sales and service teams and the group of agricultural experts. The integration of hardware will be done for John Deere Operations Center, thus further strengthening the leading position of both parties in precision agriculture.
Pessl Instruments holistic solution supports precision farm management in many aspects from the beginning until the end of farming season. Disease models are calculated on the basis of weather station data for more than 30 crops, weather forecast is localized and calibrated with on-site measured data, devices with soil moisture sensors and decision support systems (DSS) are used for irrigation management, electronic traps help monitor insect population, while on-site soil nutrient analysis solutions help monitor macro nutrients in the soil.
