μMETOS SOIL LoRa is a LPWAN weather station that operates on LoRaWAN® and can be connected to any existing LoRaWAN® network, if present at your location.

μMETOS SOIL LoRa

μMETOS SOIL LoRa is designed to monitor basic climate parameters (rain and temperature), soil characteristics (soil moisture, soil temperature and electrical conductivity), as well as water pressure.

μMETOS SOIL LoRa can handle various sensors. Data is permanently measured in 5-minute intervals and sent every 15 minutes to the server. All the data is synchronized with FieldClimate platform.

Measurement, logging and transmission intervals can be set differently to fit the client’s needs.

Measurement interval: occurrence, when the station measures the attached sensors
Logging interval: occurrence, when the station calculates the minimum, maximum and average values of all measurements which happened in this logging interval
Transmission interval: occurrence, when the station transmits the stored data from the logging interval to the FieldClimate.

Logging and transmission intervals for LoRAWAN® communication-based products are the same.

We support openness and integrations of our LoRaWAN products into different platforms and with different providers. For this reason, we have made the payload structure of our LoRaWAN based weather stations (LoRAIN, LoRATH, μMETOS CLIMA, μMETOS SOIL) available for our clients.

Interested clients can request the manual and structures via email support@metos.at with a subject: Request for LoRaWAN payload structure. After reviewing the request, our support team will grant you the access to the necessary documents.
