A perfect overview of the weather conditions with a simple glance at FieldClimate, now available both for Android and iOS devices.
After improving the user experience for the iOS device users, Pessl Instruments worked on bringing the field, and everything that is happening on it, closer to Android operating system users as well. We left the essential features of the app untouched, yet enriched the whole FieldClimate v.2 with additional properties.
It is important to us that the FieldClimate user knows exactly what goes on in his field and at the same time gives him access to reliable information which helps with immediate decision-making. To achieve the feeling of “being in total control” IoT usage enhancement tools were developed. Now the user has easier access to every IoT sensor of interest via station favourites that are marked as such by the user himself. To allow everyone to shape the app according to their priorities, sensor groups can be moved up and down and put in the preferred order.
The essentials, such as exceptional view over hourly forecast and an overview of every important sensor on a daily and hourly basis, measured and forecasted weather details, overviews, rain aggregation, and soil moisture at different depths and other relevant information for more efficient work planning are better than ever – both for iOS and Android operating systems.
“Constant development and progress, from which our user gains the most, are some of our top priorities. Saving time and money with avoiding unnecessary trips to the field is crucial, and with a renewed FieldClimate app we not only give the feeling but a real experience of how a field can be operated from the comfort of the chair,” begins explaining CEO and Founder, Mr. Gottfried Pessl. “The comprehensive summary of the last temperature, precipitation, humidity and leaf wetness measurements, remote field monitoring, along with improved overview, efficient device management, App customisation, and newly added properties are enabling farmers to have complete control over their fields,” he added.
